Saudi Arabia is a country located in Western Asia, constituting the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the largest country in the Middle East and is known for its vast deserts, rich history and culture, and being the birthplace of Islam. The country is an absolute monarchy, with King Salman serving as the current head of state.                 Saudi Arabia history

The history of Saudi Arabia dates back to the prehistoric era with the discovery of various ancient civilizations in the region. In the 7th century, Islam emerged in the Arabian Peninsula, and the area became a center of religious and political power. In the 21st century, Saudi Arabia has undergone significant modernization efforts, including the development of infrastructure and the diversification of its economy.

However, the country has faced criticism for its human rights record and treatment of women, which is governed by a strict interpretation of Islamic law. Additionally, its involvement in regional conflicts and support for conservative religious groups has drawn international attention.
