Chandragupta Maurya (321–297 BCE) - Founder of the Maurya dynasty who overthrew the Nanda dynasty to establish the Mauryan Empire.
Bindusara (297–273 BCE) - Son of Chandragupta Maurya who expanded the empire and was known for his wise rule.
Ashoka the Great (268–232 BCE) - One of the most famous rulers of the Maurya dynasty who converted to Buddhism after a brutal military campaign and became a great patron of the religion.
Dasharatha (232–224 BCE) - Son of Ashoka who succeeded him as king.
Samprati (224–215 BCE) - Grandson of Ashoka who supported Buddhism and is remembered for sending Buddhist missionaries to various countries.
Shalishuka (215–202 BCE) - Son of Samprati who ruled for a short time before being succeeded by his younger brother.
Devavarman (202–195 BCE) - Younger brother of Shalishuka who succeeded him as king.
These were some of the most significant kings of the Maurya dynasty, but there were others as well.
